Using Top-10 Cubes to Drive User Interaction

One of the advantages of a microsite is that it allows you to easily aggregate content. Top ten lists are a fun & easy way to stimulate discussion amongst your readers. If you're doing a daily blog on politics, you can search the web and compile the ten most popular political videos so that your readers can easily keep abreast of what everyone else is watching. Similarly, one could easily share sports, movie, music, tv, and entertainment collages with their readers.

Check out the cube below with my favorite dunkers of all time. Notice that all of the content can be watched in the same microsite. This makes comparisons easy and prevents viewers from having to clicks on links and wait for their browser to process another webpage. Your alternative to this would be listing ten video links in succession which doesn't look great and also isn't easily pushed around the internet (Facebook, emails, websites, other blogs).

It took me more time to pick the links from YouTube than it did to create the cube. Full disclosure, even more time was lost watching the videos. Honorable mentions- Tom Chambers, Charles Barkley, George Gervin and David Thompson.
